Emmy
Emmy first discovered The Aerial Lab and the aerial arts at a summer camp called The Gravity Camp. It was a week of activities where kids got to experience yoga, rock climbing, crossfit, and aerial. When the camp was over, she didn’t want to stop. She started taking aerial classes in August, 2017. She began with one class a week and has worked her way up to nine, including; silks, lyra, trapeze, rope, and hammock.
In terms of the future, Emmy wants to continue aerial throughout high school and explore different aerial opportunities in college, wherever that may be. She might even have a career in aerial arts one day. She puts in a large amount of time and effort because she loves the uniqueness and beauty of the sport. She also likes the way that it can connect people through emotion, talent, and curiosity. Emmy hopes to continue performing, as well as building her strength and knowledge through a variety of circus activities.
